Top 1: Opening of the meeting and establishment of the quorum
The Chair opened the meeting and established that the quorum was present
Top 2: Setting of the agenda
The agenda was adopted without amendments.
Top 3: Approval of the protocols of the last Executive Board Meeting
The minutes of the previous Executive Board Meeting were approved unanimously.
It was noted that the Executive Board meeting originally planned for 20 May 2026 had been postponed to 2 July 2026.

1. European Taiwanese Conference for Science and Technology 2026 in Utrecht
- The Executive Board discussed the conference registration fees. The following fee structure was approved unanimously:

- Jian-Jia continues monitoring the confirmation of invited speakers and the overall conference organization.
2. General Assembly 2026
- The proposed agenda for the General Assembly was approved unanimously and can be send to all members.
- The following items will be added to the agenda:
- Discussion of the first-year membership fee (without first-year discount)
- Election of the new Executive Board.
3. Academia Mentoring Program 2026
- The Academia Mentoring Program 2026 will be hosted by Hsin-Fang Chang in Saarbrücken or Homburg.
- The event is scheduled for November 14-15, 2026.
➔ Financial Report 2024 (Tsu-Wei)
The current financial status was reported by Tsu-Wei Chen and discussed.
➔ TYRA Event 2026 (Zhan-Hong)
A large-scale online talk organized by TYRA, featuring speakers from our association, is scheduled for August 8, 2026 (registration required). The Board agreed that the event should be announced on the ETAST website.
