All attendees agreed to have a board meeting today.

All attendee agreed the 10th meeting protocol.
The previous Executive Board Meeting protocol was approved with 6 votes in favor and 1 abstention.

➔ 1. General Assembly
- Jian-Jia presented and summarized the results of the general assembly.
➔ 2. European Taiwanese Conference for Science and Technology 2024 in Dortmund
- Jian-Jia will discuss financial support with Delta Electronics (台達電子) and the Science and Technology Division (科技組). The finalized financial results will be sent to the Finance Chair.
- Zhan-Hong received feedback from attendees about attracting more Master’s and PhD students to the conference and becoming members. For example, the mentor program that allows master’s students to apply for doctoral positions, similar to the program implemented by Tyra.
- Kuan-Hsun can join the discussion with Tyra.
- Hsin-Fang expressed surprise that participants felt the discussion topics were somewhat distant (e.g., application programs) but agreed on the need to attract more young students. We can invite the Science and Technology Division (科技組) to increase the impact.
- Jian-Jia preferred hosting rather than co-organizing to maintain independence. Additionally, if there is a registration fee, a 19% VAT must be paid.
- Tsu-Wei suggested redesigning the program, such as trying parallel sessions and adding a poster section.
- Chih-Jen feels that if the conference is too close to the students, it may turn into a reunion. Still, 1-2 keynote speakers are needed to increase the impact.
➔ 3. Mentor Program 2024 in Berlin
- Tsu-Wei has asked the Education Division (教育組) to promote it.
- Chih-Jen will join as an online mentor.
➔ 4. European Taiwanese Conference for Science and Technology 2025 in Dresden
- Jian-Jia proposed discussing co-organization with the association in Saxony (STAGE, Friends of Sächsisch-Taiwanesische Gesellschaft e.V.) and will ask them about their willingness to co-organize the event.
➔ 5. Technology Across the Border: Europe and Taiwan
- Joyce proposed and discussed re-organizing the event. The venue has been inquired about, and contact has been made with ITRI (工業技術研究院) and the Economic Division (經濟組). The tentative date for the event, after discussion, will be between March and May, with Tsu-Wei as the local co-organizer in Berlin.

- The next Executive Board meeting will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 15:00.
