All attendee agreed with the agenda. Tsu-Wei added a topic to discuss an association management software

Chair and Vice Chair (Jian-Jia and Chih-Jen)

• The second GA was held on 9/24 at ETH Zürich, conducted in a hybrid format. Agenda was proposed by JJC and TWC; It was approved by the executive board.
• The board has been extended to the end of 2024, based on the vote of 2^nd general assembly (GA.
• For the ETCST 2nd, the board checks the detailed expense of the conference organization, which is almost balance.
• The scale of the next ETCST will be a bit different. It would be an event supported by TSMC, Saxon ministry and DFG. JJC proposed to involve more German or European for the next time – the target scale is The Europe-Korea Conference on Science and Technology (EKC).
• JJC will find a joint funding scheme from DFG and NSTC to support the workshop+ETCST 3rd.

• JJC will check the participants of ETCST and proactively approach potential participants.

TWC & JJC: in the next executive board meeting, we should discuss how do we plan to prepare a financial report to the tax office.

• TWC will check with 教育組 to improve the visibility of ETAST.

• Discord server is established, which replaces the original plan of the forum on the website. Several channels are ready to reduce the dependency of “Line”.
• JJC proposes to leverage a feature called “Stage” in Discord, like Clubhouse, where the ETAST members can make a series of program monthly.

• 2 member addition.

Top 5: Further Planned Activities 2024

• The ETCST annual conference (2 days workshop) + 1.5 day social/networking.
• In GA, Berlin, France and Ireland (maybe) will have new activities like the roundtable 2023 in Berlin, potentially supported by the embassy on each site. JJC said, there must be one member from the executive board to participate in the organization.
• JJC & Kuan will organize virtual programs on Discord.

Top 6: Misc.

• TWC proposes to order “WISO Mein Verein to ease the efforts of Verein Management, including Tax report. TWC got a chance to see a live demo. We will discuss this again
• Next Executive Board Meeting will be on 17.11.
• Hsin-Fang Chang will write the next protocol.
