- Ministry of Education’s German Regional Recruitment Seminar (教育部德國地區攬才說明會):
- The response from the Ministry of Education was positive, and the number of attendees exceeded expectations. After discussing with the participants at the following Mentor Program for Academia, we felt that the students could have performed better.
- Jian-Jia mentioned that if there is a similar recruitment event in the future, perhaps we could offer a simple online program in advance to provide guidance on CVs and interviewing skills.
- We promoted our annual conference and encouraged attendees to participate in the next Mentor Program for Academia.
- European Taiwanese Conference for Science and Technology (ETCST) 2025 in
Dresden
- An email will be sent to members soon to register for the event. Two keynote speakers are still missing.
➔ Financial Report 2024 (Tsu-Wei)
The 2024 Annual Financial Report has been mailed to members of the Executive Board. If there is no further invoice. This version will be the final version. The 2024 Annual Financial Report will be sent to the Advisory Board later.
➔ Online mentoring program 2025 (Zhan-Hong)
Zhan-Hong, Hsin-Fang, Kuan-Hsun, Jian-Jia, and Tsu-Wei joined the online meeting
with TYRA. Now, TYRA has scheduled the time slot for December 13th for us. The
tentative topic will be the exchange program to the EU, including the DAAD mobility
program and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, which aims to guide scholars to
Germany. The talk will also cover the application process for master’s and PhD positions
within the EU, which might be attractive to young students.
